Fjalori të përbashkët të prokurimit, ose FPP (CPV – Common Procurement Vocabulary), janë kode që janë zhvilluar nga Bashkimi Evropian. FPP ofron një sistem të unifikuar të klasifikimit për prokurimin publik. Autoritetet kontraktuese, si departamentet qeveritare, qyteteve dhe komunave kanë një mjet të standardizuar për t'iu referuar projekteve dhe të përshkruajë objektin e kontratave të prokurimit. Që nga 1 shkurt 2006, përdorimi i FPP është i detyrueshëm në BE. FPP vlen për prokurimin publik në të gjithë sektorët e industrisë. Kjo është e ndërlidhur ngushtë me shpalljen e tenderëve publikë që duhet të ndjekin kornizën në qoftë se vlera e kontratës së prokurimit tejkalon një kufi të caktuar. Qëllimi i këtij sistemi është për të parandaluar jo vetëm mashtrimet dhe shpërdorimet, por edhe proteksionizmin lokal. Me të gjitha karakteristikat e përmendura më sipër dhe faktin se FPP është në dispozicion në të gjitha gjuhët zyrtare të BE-së, gjetja e mundësive të biznesit bëhet shumë më e lehtë për kontraktorët e mundshëm. Për ta bërë edhe më të lehtë për përdorusit, FPP është projektuar që të përqëndrohet më shumë mbi produktet sesa materialet. Si ti lexojmë kodet? FPP jo vetëm që përcakton subjektin e një kontrate, por edhe shton informacione të tjera cilësore nëpërmjet kodimit të tij alfanumerik. Ky kodim është i bazuar në një strukturë peme që përbëhet nga nëntë shifra. Tetë shifra përbëjnë pjesën kryesore të kodit, me një shifra të vetme kontrolli shtesë.

Për më tepër, të gjitha shifrat janë të plotësuara edhe nga një fjali që përshkruan në llojin e punëve, mallrave ose shërbimeve nga e cila përbëhet një kontratë. Ndonjëherë, i ashtuquajturi fjalori shtesë do të shtohet në kllapa për të zgjeruar mbi përshkrimin e subjektit të një kontrate. Një shembull për një kod FPP mund të jetë 45510000-5 e cila nënkupton "Marrje me qera e vinçave me operatorë". Autoritetet që duan të shpallin një konkurs një kontratë duhet së pari të gjeni kodet që përshkruajnë më mirë projektin e tyre.
